Infrastruct North delivered a suite of integrated surveys, providing the client with one point of contact throughout. Alongside topographic and utility mapping, our team carried out 3D scanning, acoustic assessments, and condition testing. Crucially, we used pulse radar scanning to map reinforcement bars and determine base depth — avoiding the need for extensive breakouts that could have compromised the concrete’s integrity.

The client received a clear, accurate dataset covering every aspect of the site. By consolidating all survey requirements into a single coordinated package worth £80,000, we reduced complexity, saved time, and provided assurance on the structural integrity of the substation base.
