Infrastruct North WLL (Bahrain) to Deliver Runway Ground Radar Survey at Mukhaizna Aerodrome, Oman.

Using the latest Leica C-Stream IDS GeoRadar, coupled with OneVision post-processing software, our team will scan the entire runway to map its structural make-up in detail.

The week-long programme will provide the aerodrome owners with clear data on pavement layers and bearing strength, enabling them to plan modifications that will allow heavier aircraft to operate safely at the site.

Two experienced surveyors from Infrastruct North will deliver the works, supported by JSM Utility Services. The job presents some unique challenges, from working airside in an operational desert airfield to managing equipment performance in Oman’s harsh climate. Scheduling the works in January ensures cooler conditions and optimal survey quality.
