New Safe Walkway Installed at Clapham Depot.

Following a detailed survey by Infrastruct North, Dura Composites designed a bespoke solution using their durable Dura Grating Waffle Board system. Over a planned weekend shutdown, a team of four Infrastruct North engineers, led by Jamie Burt, installed the new route alongside the depot’s operations building.

The new walkway provides a robust, non-slip surface in an area that previously posed trip hazards and uneven ground. By clearly defining a safe pedestrian route, the project enhances the working environment and reduces the risk of accidents.

“This is a great example of collaboration between design and installation teams,” said Jamie Burt, Project Lead at Infrastruct North. “The new walkway will make a real difference to anyone moving around the operations building — particularly during poor weather or low light.”
