Manual and automated monitoring services

Railway track monitoring provides accurate and reliable information on the condition and behaviour of track assets over time. Our surveys measure key indicators such as settlement, alignment and movement, helping to identify change early and support safe, efficient maintenance planning.

Working throughout the UK almost 365 days/year, we provide track monitoring services for a whole host of different rail projects, from routine maintenance schemes to large-scale infrastructure upgrades and renewal works.

Our approach

We begin by understanding your objectives and site conditions, so that we can design a monitoring programme that delivers the right level of detail and frequency of measurement. Our experienced surveyors install precision monitoring equipment along the track to record movement and alignment data at agreed intervals or continuously where required.

With all railway track monitoring carried out in accordance with Network Rail standards NR/L2/TRK/3100 and NR/L2/CIV/177, we make sure that all data is accurate, traceable and compliant, with clear, intuitive reporting designed to support effective decision-making.
